Protect training and certification content after you deliver it.

MyPass DRM keeps courseware, exam preparation and certification materials with enrolled learners — watermarked to each individual, expiring with enrollment, and recorded on every open. Run it standalone or connect it to your LMS through the REST API.

The problems training providers bring to us

Paid manuals forwarded to an entire study cohort from one enrollment. Certification prep circulating between exam windows. Learners keeping — and sharing — materials long after their course access should have ended. Instructor resources turning up outside the partner network. And when a document does leak, no way to tell whose copy it was.

What MyPass DRM does about each of them

  • Individual, revocable access. Learners receive controlled access to protected documents rather than loose files. When enrollment ends, access can end with it — including for copies already delivered.
  • Recipient watermarking. Each learner sees their own identity on the page. Shared copies point back to a person, which deters the casual leak and resolves the serious one. More on dynamic watermarking.
  • Time-based access. Materials can expire at the end of an enrollment, an exam-eligibility window, or a CE cycle — see document expiration and revocation.
  • Device authorization. Cap how many devices one learner account can use, so a single login can't quietly serve a study group.
  • Print & copy controls. Apply your policy to the obvious duplication paths instead of leaving them open.
  • Access records. Every open is recorded — who, what, and when — for partner compliance reviews, leak investigations, and a real picture of which materials learners use.

How it fits your workflow

Your team protects content in the MyPass DRM workspace and places controlled-access links inside your existing course pages — no integration required. Or connect your LMS or certification platform through the REST API so protection follows your enrollment workflow automatically: documents are protected on upload, access is granted at enrollment and ended when it lapses, and access events flow back to your system. MyPass DRM is the native DRM layer for MyPass LMS, and the same API is open to any platform that can make HTTPS calls.

Who this fits

Professional certification organizations and credentialing bodies. Continuing-education providers. Corporate training programs. Exam-preparation companies. Instructor-led training businesses distributing materials through partners.

What it doesn't do

Document DRM deters, controls and records; it can't prevent someone photographing a screen, and it isn't exam-delivery proctoring. It protects the content economy around your program — the prep, courseware and manuals whose leakage erodes it between test days. Our security page describes exactly what is and isn't enforced.
